PEELING AND BLISTERING

Proper preparation is vital. 
The peeling, blistering, flaking areas are scraped-off by the Painting Crew. If bare wood is exposed from the prep, it is primed with a stain-blocking primer. Marathon Premium RT Primer penetrates the substrate and acts to lock-down the existing coating. It's high-build characteristics fill cracks and joints and smoothes the substrate, acting as a superior barrier and the ultimate first coat.

ALLIGATORING AND CRACKLING

This problem is caused by paint decay. The paint breaks down its barrier and causes a wrinkling and exposure of the substructure. CHALKING

During the powerwashing of the structure, special solutions are needed to kill the fungus and wash it from your exterior.
